Our mission: make real-time volumetric humans as universally accessible as video calls — with full spatial fidelity, across any device and any distance.

Volum is built on a proprietary volumetric pipeline that separates capture, processing and streaming — unlocking a level of realism, latency and scale that makes holographic presence practical for the real world.

The same technology that powers HoloMIT SDK also drives every Volum hardware unit — a unified stack from raw RGBD data to photorealistic 3D human display.

Technology Validation
Volumetric technology validation through extensive demos at industry events, R&D projects and various companies, ensuring it meets real-world needs and expectations.

HoloMIT SDK
Public release of the HoloMIT SDK for Unity — enabling third-party developers to integrate volumetric humans into their own applications for the first time.
2025
Company Founded
Volum Technologies established in Barcelona, born out of the i2Cat's Media Technologies research unit on volumetric capture.
2026
Hardware Product Line
Implemented a new product line, enabling complete end-to-end volumetric deployments.
